Our Process

Photo-Framer uses the latest print and frame technology to produce the highest quality product.

Printing

We use a 12 ink professional large format Canon imagePROGRAF iPF8300 printer to get great results for your pictures.

Your photo is printed to the size and aspect ratio initially chosen by you. We make sure that your picture fits perfectly and does not slip. We do this by having a 2mm print overlap behind your window.

We check every picture we process for small problems - e.g. red eye and heavy shadow. Unfortunately, we cannot do any major photographic improvements as this is a highly technical and time consuming process. We trust that you have taken a great photo.

Paper Choices

Our standard paper is a semi-glossy pearl. This gives a lovely photography standard finish to your picture. This is a 290gsm Siena Pearl Photo Paper. We think it is great for all standard photography.

Our more expensive offering is a 285gsm Hahnemuhle pearl paper. This provides a bit more texture to your pictures. We recommend this for photos of artwork or very high quality photos. This would be your choice if you are looking for something with slightly less of a lustre.
